Hey there! Get to know more about this accountant-turned-designer & developer! Professional summary to the left, and skills to the right.
I'm a designer with front-end experience who focuses on practical, user-centered solutions. At Silvertrek Systems I designed an equipment app for construction mechanics, revamped the company branding & website, and created marketing collateral.
Today, I work as a Digital Designer at Lakeside Gardens, where I lead content strategy, site design, and visual storytelling for a busy wedding venue. I combine UX thinking, front-end skills, and marketing perspective to move projects from concept to production, and I aim for designs that are both usable and easy to implement.
Overall, I'm always thinking about how to strategically improve designs and processes, helping businesses achieve their goals while prioritizing user experience.
On a fun and personal note, some of my favorite hobbies include playing game design/development, reading psychology articles, and watching anime. While you're still here, check out my resume to see my accomplishments!
Here are some examples of recent projects I've worked on! If you're interested in seeing more of my work, feel free to send me an e-mail!
Lakeside Gardens needed a website that reflected the beauty of its venue and encouraged more wedding inquiries, especially during the busy June season. I interviewed wedding coordinators and recent brides, then collaborated with the owners to identify the high-traffic pages couples look for first. I redesigned the layout and refined CTAs to align with the venue’s nature-inspired brand. Within 3 months of launch, the site’s average time on page rose from ~36s to ~89s, indicating stronger visitor engagement.
Silvertrek Systems wanted a unified visual identity to strengthen its presence in the construction industry. As the Marketing Designer, I used Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop to create cohesive marketing collateral that carried the new branding I conceptualized and implemented. By redesigning key assets, I reduced material usage by 25% while attracting new prospects with fresh, professional visuals. Post-launch, I managed ongoing web updates, identified pain points in their in-house app through client meetings, and adapting multiple roles to meet evolving business needs.
Restaurant Technologies, the nation’s leading cooking-oil management provider, needed a site that simplified navigation for its 36,000+ restaurant and hospitality clients. Partnering with a team of four developers, I redesigned cornerstone and subpages with a focus on clarity and usability. I created responsive UI components to highlight services and guide visitors from overviews to demo requests. The redesign delivered a more intuitive customer journey, supporting lead generation goals.
ZenithPro needed a website for its 26-home rental community that they have acquired and wanted to showcase neighborhood appeal. I designed a landing page that emphasized local charm while making application steps clear and accessible. After the client's approval, I onboarded a junior developer to handle ongoing updates, ensuring a smooth handoff, consistent branding, and long-term maintainability.
